InnovationGUIDE at Türkiye Innovation Week: A Milestone for Rural Innovation

The InnovationGUIDE consortium successfully hosted its final event as part of Türkiye Innovation Week, bringing together participants from Türkiye, Spain, the Netherlands, and Malta. With over 15,000 attendees across the three-day event, the session stood out for its collaborative spirit, insightful discussions on rural innovation, and interactive co-creation workshop focused on the future of rural development.

The event featured a keynote presentation by Diana Miceli (EIT Community Officer for Malta), who highlighted the European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s (EIT) programs and funding opportunities to support rural entrepreneurs. This was followed by Eva López Barrio (University of Santiago de Compostela), who addressed gender disparities in entrepreneurship and showcased the Innovatia 8.3 Program, aimed at integrating a gender perspective in university entrepreneurship initiatives.

A comprehensive review of InnovationGUIDE’s achievements was presented by project partners, demonstrating how cross-border collaboration has driven sustainable development in agriculture, bioeconomy, and tourism. The event concluded with an interactive co-creation workshop, where stakeholders from academia, business, and entrepreneurship developed innovative ideas to advance rural innovation.

This final event marked a significant milestone for InnovationGUIDE, celebrating its successes while paving the way for future collaborations beyond the project’s scope
